October? I am already anxious to get started, I don't know how you will stand it. This will still be an exciting summer. Will your start moving some of the trees this Spring or wait until Brian finalizes plans and it gets closer to Fall?
I always thought the water pond was far too small, considering all the rocks and boulders taking up most of the water space.
Pleased to see it being created into a much bigger and realistic running water stream.
And the wildlife will thankyou for it.
This is awesome! Wow what an amazing project. Can't wait til installation day. Question…..are you planning to completely fence in the basketball court? Would it be possible to leave the north and northwest corner open to the playground so families can be together, parents and kids playing in the two areas? It could be beautifully landscaped with a seating area, picnic area to connect the two. Just fence the eastside and the Southside.

I took my kids to a bird zoo today, they had a lovely natural style pond where you could feed the trout and my kids loved it and are begging for a pond now. I’m going to have to start a you tube channel to fund the build I think 😅

Laura, what an exciting project and will look forward to seeing Brian's design once it has been completed. Also, good to see your upcoming businessman, Ben, who seems like a smart person to me. Nellis Landscaping will be here today and will go over what needs to be removed from the land and then,of course, there is the tilling. Weather has finally improved here in Indiana and it will be a sunny day! Don't know what kind of tower is being built that can easily be seen from our window. Maybe a water tower? It sure is beautiful lit up at night and thankful not a new home development is being constructed. Thanks for your video and have a great day!🌻

Now would be a good time to build a good old-fashioned fishing pond out there on the dirt lands! My grandson can spend hours at a pond casting away! You could then use the dirt for your berms.

Also I received. my first order from the store, the Laura's addition auger and the 5 tier planter when it was 30% off. I've just finished my chemo treatments and I got emotional knowing that I will get to enjoy planting in my garden this spring. 🙂

It reminds me of Juniper Level Botanical Gardens in Raleigh, NC- they went really big and created a waterfall you can walk under with a little "cave" (Jim Putnam could describe it to you) if y'all wanted to go REALLY big. 🙂

I’m curious: will you be working the small, pondless water feature kit back into the big pond/stream area somewhere? Or do you see it ending up in another area of the garden, like the shade garden you’ve been building out past the Persephone garden where you’ve set up the dining room table and chairs (where Samantha’s swing used to hang from the tree)? Or do you imagine creating a water feature of some kind with it farther out in the full sun of the south garden somewhere? I’m dying to know the plan for adding more water features to the garden. 😄
