  1. A fresh coat of paint is like a new home. Perhaps two small concrete statues would work on the front porch; although, faux looks very nice.

  2. Who knew you could grow grapes in containers?! 🤷🏼‍♀️
I’m going to need a bigger porch! 😂

  3. I saw the title of the video and thought, “Wait! What?! Yesterday was April Fools Day!” 😂😂

  4. If I had those pots, I’d worry they’d grow legs & run away (or drive) at night. 😂 If you know what I mean!

  5. For anyone who likes using river stones as soil cover…there are also "faux" river stones made out of recycled plastic..they are lightweight and honestly, indistinguishable from the real stones and come in several colors.😊

  6. Fun projects today! The faux plants are perfect for the porch…and they look great. I love the urns, too.

  7. Canadice…. Candice.. Candace?? What is this grapes name?!
Laura you should just spray foam those fake boxes into those pots permanently!

  8. Laura, it all makes sense with trying to keep the water at bay as much as possible. However, those were some beautiful and big window boxes that brought tons of charm & eye candy to the dimmer areas. Perhaps in time you will have a change of heart lol. But I greatly greatly understand your current thinking! (Ohhh, and it never mattered that they all didn't match lol).

  10. I’m loving both of these projects!! Seeing you working up around the formal porch area made me wonder, do you use the sun porch very often anymore? I remember that being a prime spot for you to film your videos a few years ago…

  11. I was homeless, I had nothing to offer, always sleeping on the street, until Jesus sent me a friend who helped me… I got a job & was managing till I melt a friend who helped me introduce me to MRS Elizabeth Ann … She changed my life and now I have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity… HALLELUJAH

  12. Oh, thank you Laura, for trying the faux boxwoods! If they end up NOT working, you’ll let us know, and I will understand. However, it validates my wish to try them also, as we are zone 4 and our nurseries warn of wind damage to boxwoods in winter. The grapes will be beautiful too. Thank you for your ideas and approach to gardening!

  13. Hey Laura! Maybe a rain chain might be a good option for you to prevent the water from hitting the porch and guide it to the ground. Just a thought. Love the faux boxwoods and you inspired me to do this to my front porch. 😊

  14. Fun experiments today! I like the faux spiral boxwoods on the porch and prayers of blessings for the grape trees. Your sharing the dimension of the pots was helpful. They appear larger than they are on camera, IMO. I'm getting antsy to plant cool season annuals like pansies for a porch display on either side of the door with a spike thriller and ivy spiller.
