You make it so hard to work from home! I’ll have your videos on and can’t stand staying inside on my computer when I’m inspired to get out in my garden! 🪴 #gardenerproblems
Absolutely beautiful editing on this video.
It's going to be beautiful! Blessings 💞🙏🏻💞
Love your expression after cocktail 🍹😅😅
It’s so fun to see the preparation for another fantastic growing season.
Every year I toy with buying & potting a mint plant but I am so afraid of it's taking over the world tendencies. I've been pulling out my neighbors invasives for years and couldn't imagine adding more work for myself🤪. But mint smells amazing!
What's the plan for all those geraniums?
Have you tried chocolate mint?
Starting your seeds indoors to protect young plants from the elements is a great way to ensure a great chance at a successful garden!

How about sharing your tea recipe? My biggest lesson was the Japanese lantern plant. Man, it sent roots into the neighbour's yard. What a mess to clean up.
I’m wondering how mint would perform in a green stalk? I would love to grow lots of varieties but with them being so invasive not sure if a green stalk would work?
PLEASE record your videos with more volume. Every day that I watch Laura, for at least the past month, I have to turn my speakers up to max volume and I still can't hear her like I used to. I'd used to be able to work around my kitchen and still hear her with no issue. Short of buying an external speaker….I never had this problem in the past or with any other channel.
You go girl 😊
Some trailing calibrachoa would be pretty around the mint. It would also add some colour.
Is all organic potting soil good? Miracle grow for instance? Espoma potting soil is not in our local stores, and if it is 🤯$$$$
Please help! I have 2 hibiscus that get desimated by hibiscus sawflies! Poor things look like a skeleton, I spray with neem oil all season but they are doomed. I’m ready to pull them but hoping there was some advice to try 1 more season.
I vote you repeat the verbena, it looked so pretty last year.
Mint plants in the ground: Can they survive under large trees with surface-spreading roots that kill other plants? We're struggling to plant under a couple of trees, but it's so bare and ugly so we're trying to find ground cover that will spread and thrive despite the choking surface roots.
You’re right about couple of you. I put it in in the ground back of my yard. I cannot get rid of it the matter how much I pull it I I give advice if somebody want to grow them, put it in the pot not in the ground😂
You continue to teach and inspire me to get to my gardening projects- many thanks for your all your videos!
Question…..I need to fertilize my seedlings-Is the Espoma Indoor! just as effective as Grow!? The Grow seems to be almost twice the cost and harder to find where I live.
Talking about mint
Another very informative and enjoyable one. Thank you, we appreciate your approach to caring for your family, community, home, and garden.
Chuckled at your self mutterings “if I were a 1/4in tube where would I be?” Happy cleaning and planting, Laura 👍🏼
It’s ok to repeat a favorite flower every year in your garden. I’m sure there are new people watching each year. I love seeing a great performing flower
Lemonade and Ice Tea is actually called an Arnold Palmer if you want to order it at any restaurant or bar.
💜💜💜
The vanilla mint sounds like it would be great for baking, incense making, and perfume making.
More pots for the baby Geranium babies!! Mint smells so so sweet!
Just a great video today
Do you ever get tired?????? You give me so much inspiration and motivation…. But I’m 70 so I prob could not keep up with you… I would try…keep up the excellent work!!!!!
You should get a couple cat beds for the greenhouse. Not the Hartley greenhouse, but the one they sleep in.
I always plant mint in self water containers to avoid the roots run away roots and in the end of the year the bottom part of the container is completely rooted, it’s insane.
Laura, in South Carolina we call ice tea and lemonade a Arnold Palmer. After the golfer.
I love the smell of mint. Is there a lemon variety that you like?
Can you show how to prune citrus trees please
Pineapple mint is my favorite!
Ditch water (tea and lemonade)…I've heard "Arnold Palmer", and Chic fil A calls theirs "Sunjoy".
Whatever one calls it, I love it.
Ditch water— never heard it called that before… I kinda like it 😊
I made the same mistake with mint. It’s ALL over now and I’m sure I’ll have it for YEARS to come. The only saving Grace is that where it’s located the rabbits avoid that area. 🪻💚🙃
Jenny from Creekside recommended ferti Lome for Japanese beetles on my roses, I bought a gallon. 🪻💚🙃
Felco gloves are they sized for a man or woman’s hands ? 🪻💚🙃 I would like to get some ASP ? 🪻💚🙃
Hello, I did what you showed of planting in a water jug. Cucumbers, and when I removed the lid within an hour the leaves were drooping. So I put the lids back on and they are getting better. How am I gonna get them where they come out and survive??
Thank you for keeping us going with all the clean up chores this spring! I had a thick grow bag last year planted with spearmint. The roots GREW THROUGH THE BAG and into the ground below it. Y'all been warned! 😉
