  1. Such a gorgeous display of herbs. Question. Do you not use bio tone when potting up or transplanting the herbs?

  2. This video was so exciting and made me happy to watch Laura. She gets so excited like all of us gardener's. Thank you for sharing this with us ❤

  3. Good morning, I was looking at the Espoma liquid fertilizers and all of them say the same thing and are labeled as specific uses, I.e. cactus, violets, etc. So I guess my question is are they useful for all applications? Perhaps the actual bottle has more information on it. I’m not wanting to necessarily buy each type according to its specific plant type if they all contain similar or the same ingredients. Help clarify please. And Thank you. You guys are the best!!

  4. I absolutely love watching these videos! Soo inspirational! But, does anyone else calculate the cost (for those of us without the discounts available) of these projects? At my calculation, just for the one 5 tier, fully planted up it would be at nearly $500 🥴 The cheapest espoma soil available in my area is $23.89 for a 1 cubic foot bag. Thank you for letting us live vicariously through you Laura! 😄

  5. Thanks for sharing this video on vertical gardens. I got one for Christmas and was thinking of planting strawberries in it. After watching this, though, I am probably going to do half herbs and half strawberries ❤

  6. My partner is a chef and I want to start growing herbs and edibles for him to use at home. What plants do you suggest for a kitchen, indoor, garden? I really don’t have a good space outdoors yet and I want to somehow contribute to making dinners. 😂😉

  7. how fun!! please share recipes and ideas with herbs… i love growing them, and working around the garden with lovely fragrance is always a winner.. how's the rosemary tincture coming along??? love Russell getting in to "help" with planting, haha;… 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤

  8. Would love to see a Greenstalk planted up with flowers. I am struggling to figure out how this would work. I guess cut flowers would be difficult in it.

  9. I have a greenstalk (and love it)–decided the same thing, to turn it into an herb garden. I'm still in 2nd winter, so nothing is growing yet.

  10. Do you know if there are certain plants that are trap plants for leaf miner? My Columbine were covered last year with leaf miner. 😢

  11. Do you pre cut/tear the bags of soil before filming? It looks effortless when you do it, while I have to get a knife or scissors and still have to gnaw the bag open with my teeth!

  12. Too Many constant info mercials, advertising, marketing ! Ughhh! Have stopped watching ! A person gets bombarded by constant advertising elsewhere, I don't need to seek it. Thanks 😢

  13. Omg id be in heaven right there with the herbs!😍 A herbalist and cook's weakness…i'd go broke lol hubby would snag the Lobelia and columbine, by the flat…he loves them.❤

  14. The green stalk pockets appear to have plenty of soil per plant but very limited on top for foliage space. Is this growing container really worth it? Would like an honest review.

  15. ADORE my greenstalks! I have herbs and flowers that I don't have to buy – just outside my back door. My garlic is just about ready to pull out (Florida) and the bulbs that I add for beauty are – beautiful. Greenstalks make me so happy growing out on the driveway.

  16. I’m so looking forward to getting plants also. I go Gaga for plants also. I have three greenstalks to plant in this year. I sure would like to have a greenhouse close to my place that has so many varieties. Happy planting!

  17. I have one greenstalk that I have filled with a variety of plants. I may have to get another one for just herbs!😀

  18. The shot of you taking the plants in the green house was so idyllic! The snow looks like a paid actor, it’s so perfect lol 😂

  19. Would love to know ways to use some of those herbs in cooking, I.e. the different flavors of thyme or mint. TFS

  20. 🌱 I could not find the kneeling pads you have on this video showing at 19:57 (to the right) & 23:19 (you'll have to freeze the video and you will see it on the floor to the left).
Also, I suggest you also carry the smaller pot of the vertical garden.🌱

  21. Hi Laura, this year I read a book called "Toxic Superfoods" which is all about high oxalate plants. Sorrel, if I remember correctly, is #1 highest in oxalate, which can be deadly. There was a case in Europe where someone died eating a bowl of sorrel soup. Oxalates can make people very sick. I would hate to see that happen to your family or viewers. It's basically a way plants protect themselves. Spinach and rhubarb are also extremely high. I'm so glad my doctor had me read it. I think it's a really important read for any gardener or veggie lover.

  22. My husband lost his job last week and I have been depressed and worried how to keep a roof over our children. First thing that came up to my mind to reduce expenses is to quit gardening this year so it was more depressing to me. Thank you for your videos. It helps me mental health. I can forget those concerns while I watch your videos.

  23. Off topic but you were in greenhouse and cat was there, in one recap video you and Arron was talking about efficiency of greenhouse, could you instal pet/cat door on plexiglass on big door so you can seal corners of greenhouse, cats could still go inside and you would have less of heat loss.

  24. I am drooling over all of the beautiful plants while I look at our very frozen snow covered ground here in Montana. None of our nurseries will have plants for at least a month if not longer!

  25. I hope to find some of those evergreen ground covers this year. Slowly adding for evergreen each year to brighten up the winter. All those herbs look beautiful.
Do you buy fresh herbs every so often with the ones that winter over? I have sage, oregeno,.thyme, and lemon balm that return each year. The sage gets pretty woody, but still comes up after i sheer it back.

  26. Love Sorrel. It's good with Fish dishes, to flavor a sauce or ?. Well, here in France it's common as a sauce. I didn't know about it before living here. Sometimes I crave the tangy flavor.
