Philodendron

What are these brown dots that persist with growth?

Fungal? Genetics? Fertilizer? I’ve changed what I could change but the spotting persists. Small brown almost chicken pock like spots. Leaning towards fungal, how can I stop it?

If they’re like little craters rather than something sitting on the surface, they’re from extrafloral nectaries, which is a common occurrence in philodendron and normal

Most likely efn (EXTRAFLORALNECTARIES). They’re normal and natural, nothing that will harm your plant. It’s basically a defense mechanism.

Here’s what I found on Google:
Extrafloral nectaries are a type of nectar; a sugar-rich liquid that is produced by the plant to develop a symbiotic relationship with ants in the wild. Secretory activity of extrafloral nectaries begins in young, not completely expanded organs, and extend to the leaves of the second or third node from the base.

Might be spidermites. I’d give that baby a soak with some dish soap asap.

Edit: I see you have other plants near it too. Check them all.
