Philodendron

This is my Silver Sword… is there any reason I shouldn’t leave it to continue trailing like this? I’ve had it for about a year, it seems happy (leaves are getting bigger and I’ve gotten two babies) I like the trailing look and don’t have space for a giant pole or plank for it to climb on

If you want it to continue growing like that then let it. Plant might mature faster on a pole or plank but it’s mostly about how much light it receives. The need for poles are a a bit exaggerated in my opinion.

Both of mine trail and they’re both gigantic. I’m not a person who thinks everything needs to be on a pole. I actually have a pile of them I tried and hate. I have over 40 different types of philos (and multiple of some) and only a few are on poles -that’s just my opinion.
