So, my trash company go bought out with a big chain and I switched service to another local little man. The company that got bought out never took their can back and I can't imagine then will. Now the issue is, I have a 95 gallon trash can with nothing to do with and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it
One thought was a compost bin, but I feel it would be hard to mix it when it's full. Another thought was ice plunge, but gross….

I made compost bins out of mine
How about rain water collector
Soldier fly larvae for chickens.
Use it as a second trash bin but far from the house. I end up generating weird amounts of trash in the garden from time to time and wish i had a bin handy
Bodies
Compost bin seems like the best bet
Couple of holes some net pots and a bubbler, I’d make a DWC container
New digs for Oscar the grouch.
I use one to store my chicken food in.
I would bleach the ever living hell out of it and make an ice bath. Just may be a pain in the ass to climb out of.
I use mine for scrap wood in my workshop.
Make a flow through worm bin.
Quick access to hay for the goats
Really hard to throw those away. The trash man always leaves them…
Chicken feeder
Now you have a house trash can and a shop trash can.
Put it on it’s side and do some ollies over it
Compost bin
Throw it in the trash
Why not rain barrel?
Water rez
Those things are great for yard work, garden, and all kinds of material handling. I wish I had some when I used to do property management and landscaping.
I use it for storing feed. I put a couple of velcro straps on the lid and the raccoons and possums can’t raid the feed.
I use my extra ones for crushed cans and copper scrap
