  1. Which of these must-plant veggies are you growing this Spring? -CaliKim & CameraGuy

  2. I’m so excited to be starting seeds that I purchased from Cali Kim…❤ Even though we are expecting more snow here in southern Colorado, you always know how to get us excited about growing and summer!

  3. The seed looks too big to be planted like you did. I planted my tiny seeds like you did, and I planted bigger seeds further down. Maybe around 1, or 2 inches deep in its respected place.

Tiny seeds are planted near the top of the soil. The bigger the seed is then I think it should be planted further down.

I thin out my plants while they are sprouting, but anyway you do whatever works best, for you.

From what I learned making seeds sprout is ideal in something that is on the smaller size, and then transplanted into something that is bigger.

  4. Great video! I’ll miss the Livestream tomorrow (I’m having surgery to fuse my cervical spine.) Please give my best to everyone!

  5. My greens are doin grrrreat! We are probably a few weeks behind you temp & weather wise up here in the 831. I didn't know Runner Beans perennialize! I'm off work this week, I hope there's a Monday livestream 🌱

  6. Have you ever grown Chinese Green Long Beans? The beans can grow up to 2 feet long! I'm trying them out this year. Also I'm growing Suyo Long Cucumbers which are parthenocarpic and don't need to be pollinated and last year they grew like crazy.! I'm also hopefully going to get some fennel bulbs. I just planted some seeds outdoors in different locations and gardens. So we shall see….

  7. Kim, did you know that the USDA just changed some hardiness zones across the country? They evidently re-evaluate the zones every 10 years. We went from 8a to 8b in upstate SC.

It would be fun to see you grow some artichokes in your garden. They are supposed to be perennials here and I'd love to have a bunch growing and producing every year I didn't need to plant every year.. The hearts taste so yummy and they are really good for your liver. I bet they'd be a candidate for one of your large grow bags

  8. Welcome back! Loved the video. Right on time. We’re getting some cold weather in N Texas but it will pass soon. Starting my cukes and squash in pots, beans are already sprouting! Have a great day! 🌱

  9. I really love watching your videos, whether it be for the educational content or just for the good vibes. It always looks so calm and beautiful in your garden, and makes me look forward to the sunnier months here in the colder climates

  10. Welcome back, Kim and CG! I bet y’all are missing Hawaii😊. Great video and can’t wait to get stuff outside. I started my beans and peas, the peas from your collection and the beans from dried ones I bought for cooking. The peas popped out of the soil less that 24 hours after sowing😲

  11. I am in California and I am starting my veggie pod this week, thanks for the information. I do have some of your pots that I will be growing my herbs in. 👍🏾

  12. Love your channel! I'm a fledgling patio gardener, so I have an embarrassing question. What is the difference between 'green beans' and pole beans vs bush beans?? I want to grow green beans for the table, but I'd also like to grow 'beans', i.e. pinto beans, etc. I honestly can't tell the difference when looking at the pictures on seed packets. 🎋

  13. I love this time of year! It is also helpful to get my seedlings out of the house, according to my children, lol!

  14. I want to be your friend. I saw your video until the end and I have L, C, S. Complete package. Always happy greetings.
    ❤❤❤👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

  15. The bush bean variety i have says the last month to plant for this year is February. We have super hot dry summers here. Any variety you'd recommend?

  16. Kim I definitely have lots of vegetables growing In my garden I started a kale plant about two years ago and It's still going strong so you have any beets growing I love beets that's one thing I still have not planted yet I built a new garden bed this year I plan on growing my tomato plants there .
