  1. Love your matching modern farmhouse furniture! Those bohemian spartacus dahlias would fit perfectly in your Living room. I think the tray your son made is a decoupage design. I love saving old fancy liquor bottles and adding decorative napkins to them for vases, etc. Your dried roses are the perfect touch to the room. Good luck with the fenugreek and horseradish too..

  2. I love the scent of peonies! My daddy had them, and I always looked forward to the huge blooms late in May or early June. Someone planted a few kinds at the house we live in, and I always look forward to having a bunch or two in a vase. But they sure don't last. I would love to know your technique for drying rhem!

  3. Loved the music, Kaye! I added four more blueberry bushes to my orchard, planting 100 strawberry plants, planted hostas and poppies, 3 David Austin roses (Crown Princess Margareta, The Pilgrim and Windmere ) and prepared bed for 165 onion plants.
My Dahlias have not yet arrived from Longfield Gardens. That Spartacus Dahlia reminds of Nick Sr. Dahlia. Love the reds and yellows blended. Also love any peach/apricot colored flower! Just gorgeous. I have a coral drift rose, Kaye, and that color is strikingly beautiful. I will definitely have to invest in coral colored peonies!
Thanks for storytime and so enjoyed all the vibrant colors in the room along with the music. Very relaxing and soothing.

  4. We are having a beautiful start to our Spring so far in NC. We are expecting a light freeze too. I'm also not cutting my potatoes and waiting to start tomatoes. Always love story-time with Kaye♥️

  5. Dusty rose was my wedding color!!!
Love the dried flowers and the history of your mom’s furniture

  6. It seems that +2 degrees Celsius is needed to stop potato from sprouting. I was googling for information about having an apple to stop sprouting, didn't find any.

  7. I love your MCM furniture! I used to be a dealer so I recognize the designers. They are very nice pieces! They fit your house nicely.

  8. Kaye, I am not a fan of orange, I do love mauve but you are right, totally out of date, but the orange in your room…looks fabulous! ❤

  9. OH my gosh! I knew there was a trick on the “free range”, I am seeing it too much. Just like “natural” it only needs to be 5% to call it natural. Shameful.

  10. Absolute beautiful made video! You are so talented Kaye. 😊❤ The information you share is so interesting and helpful. I love the furniture and decor as well. Just beautiful. Some would say quirky and perfect for a farmhouse or cottage. I love the colors.

  11. Thanks Kaye! I hope to get some great ideas from your videos for indoor plants as I won't have a yard until later this year.

  12. Oh Kaye.. I love the furniture ❤… question.. what does putting the potatoes in the egg cartons do? I need to go back and watch the potato videos .. much love… oh.. just got my sweet annie started!!!

  13. I'm so sick of the woke adds on my favorite channels. You have a lovely home and I can hardly wait to see your Spring and Summer garden. Oh honey I would like to have the 1960's furniture back. I would like to have the 1950's back when people were respectful to elders and had good work ethics. Thankfully my son's grew up on a small farm and always had chores and developed good work ethics even before adulthood.

  14. We plant out tomatoes around Mother’s Day here in Minnesota. I’m going through seeds and what ones I need more of and then start my seeds in a week or two

  15. You and your mother truly have the skills for art, interior design, and furniture restoration. Your house really looks like something I would see at art museum starting with the beautiful paintings, retro, and timeless furnishings. Its just beautiful and sounds like your mother is an amazing woman, Kaye. Thank you for sharing your stories with us.

  16. Well, I planted a few herbs and lots of flower seeds. Probably was too early to do so but I couldn’t wait to get started. Our basil is coming up though! Planted some snap peas and greens, spinach, kale, mustard , arugula, lettuce. I did plant a few potatoes in a very large pot. They’re coming up. Covered everything because frost tonight. Tomorrow is Spring!!!😘❤🙏🏻✨

  17. You can get a clear spray that helps to strengthen your dried flowers. It keeps it from breaking pieces of the dried flowers. Works pretty good! 😊🌷
