[1 hour gardening project] – Day 3 – The Strawberries

Last year I got 3 strawberries, they produced some, but I didn't really pay attention to them, they didn't get any nutrients. Finally the wind stopped, so I cleared this area, there were lots of weeds. Now this year I bought another 6 pack of strawberry seedlings, planted them next to last year's, and will be tending them regularly this year, hopefully they will grow nicely. I know that strawberries are a nutrient-hungry plant, so I'll have to keep an eye on that too, it's not enough to just water them occasionally. This area is not in the best position, it is a little shaded by a big cherry tree, but it gets sun all the time in the morning until noon, so I hope that's good. I'll write about the cherry tree later, I'll have a lot to do with that too.

I've been watering the radishes that were sown yesterday, cleaning up the area and planting the strawberries, and I've spent the hour today. So far I am really enjoying what I am doing 🙂
