I pre-ordered the book for delivery here in the US in May. Can’t wait!!! I discovered your channel late last year and have been a fan ever since. I’ve gardened for most of my life and I’m 61 now. I lean heavily towards permaculture practices in my suburban yard. I even have chickens. I started moving towards self-sufficiency gardening at the beginning of the pandemic when the grocery stores were struggling to have fresh veg available. It reminded me that we can’t always depend on others providing for us. We need to be self-sufficient where we can.
I really appreciate the how you suggest self-sufficiency goals being incremental and by crop. That really focuses my goals for this year’s main growing season.
So excited to have a gardening book geared for my climate! Often the information is for milder / warmer climates. May seems so far away, can't wait to receive my copy.
I just ordered mine and it will arrive in Denia, Spain on the 13th… From there the book will fly to the US, Lima and then Cusco, Peru. Yeyyyy, super excited, although I will have to wait until April 11.

I am the gardener (30 years) and the cook of our little farm. BUT, my son is turning into the "BETTER" cook….with an increasing interest the most flavorful varieties, and a more exploratory way of preparing them. I have U.S. Mel Bartholemew books, but yours seems to really fill and build upon that idea. I CANNOT wait (but must) for your book!
Over the past few years, our local food bank/food share has encouraged a program to "grow a row" to donate fresh produce for needy families. I dived into the program with more than both feet! Thank-you, looking forward to your book.
What you are doing is so very important because they are poisoning us and our food supply at least in the US – thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience 💚
