  1. Thank you Erin for all of the helpful information regarding bulb planting. I have problems with squirrels displacing my bulbs and I never thought to use granular repellant.

  2. Youโ€™re inspiring me to go plant some bulbs! ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒทNo room in the garden? Doesnโ€™t matterโ€ฆplant โ€˜em in your lawn! All good!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

  3. I think this look is so beautiful, I fully intend on having an area or two or three or more in my yard with a bulb lawn/meadow. ๐Ÿ’œ

  4. What a great idea, planting bulbs on top of those gigantic mogules aka septic tanks,! Thank goodness we don't have that issue (yet)! But, I'm quite interested in keeping the moles/voles away, in the past I have used bone meal, but later learned that bone meal actually attracts the annoying little brats! If you've ever seen their tunnels that peruse your whole lawn to the bulbs, they're deep, and ugly! So, I stick to beds, amongst other shrubs, perennials, to add protection from the little vermin, I just noticed chipmunks have been digging up last year's bulbs, time to activate the Repels All,! Good stuff ๐Ÿ‘Good luck to all of us this year!

  5. I loved the drone footage at the end. I lived my entire life ( 70 years)in the north east and just moved to the deep south of Alabama. I miss the fall colors. So pretty!

  6. Love that drone shot. Just learning about bulb lawns as well, they have such a beautiful naturalistic look. Can't wait to see how the mound turns out. Dorothy was so comfortable on camera today.๐Ÿถ

  7. I love gardening! But am now 77 yrs old & not as physically able to go gung-ho as past years. I have become a throw & go gardener to help the environment & pollinators. I have 2 properties I maintain & also love to let nature take it's course. Fingers crossed I can get some bulbs to plant for future generations. I love, love, love your practical approach & experimentation! โคโค

  8. WOW, can't wait to see this area in the spring! I fight with voles eating my bulbs, but I keep trying. Dorothy is a beautiful attraction to any project.

  9. Love projects like this!! Anticipation if a new season!! ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ
