This video is dedicated to two of my dear friends on YouTube who share a passion with me for gardening and great food.

Adam Powell @adams_dirty_garden: https://youtube.com/@adams_dirty_garden is a dear friend and fellow gardener who recently gifted me a fresh harvest of artichokes and garlic scapes from his garden. I will be using some of that produce to make homemade garlic (scape) powder and spinach-artichoke dip soon! We have a sort of yin and yang gardening vibe. I am a small scale (side yard) gardener while Adam is more large scale, homestead focused. Not only do we learn a lot from each other’s style of growing, we always have a great time comparing notes and sharing what we grow.

I recently met Ms. J, who’s channel is called β€œThe Roed to Good Cooking” https://youtube.com/@TRTGCbyjroed here on YouTube. Ms. J is a chef who has many videos on delicious recipes, canning and preserving meats and produce, using a food dehydrator for making spices, jerky and so much more! She is also a gardener. We have been sharing our gardening and culinary tips and tricks for about 3 weeks now.

I invite you to visit both of these channels and hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I have been on the platform for just under 3 months now and I am loving the sense of community and friendships that I am starting to build with fellow creators and influencers. That is the focus of today’s video. I hope y’all enjoy, and as always, happy gardening and cooking!

  1. Good Morning Lemmy ~ Yes Sir "Building a Community" Let's Go. Beautiful Artichokes and Garlic Scapes what a yummy Blessing..Eating the wrong end of the Garlic Scape oopsπŸ˜‚I know about those dehydrated apples NOT making it thru the day. I did the same thing……..Me and Sophie ate HALF of our apples before I recorded the video!

I am so glad we found each others channel. You are so right "It's All About Building a Community" and I'm honored to be part of this Gardening Community aka "The Gardening FAMILY".

I had to chuckle when you advised folks to eat something BEFORE they stopped by my channel🀣When I see all the goodness you are growing in your garden, I immediately ask myself, "Now what would I cook with; all that garlic, all those tomatoes (from tomato row), all those fresh herbs and all those Strawberries". I would probably put myself in an eating coma with all those Strawberries (my favs)

WOW, you have been busier than a one arm wallpaper hanger!!! All of your Dehydrated goodies look absolutely delish……nicely done!

Your knife skills are just fine…heck you still have all your fingers and that is a good thing!!

Thanks for the shoutout Lemmy ~ that really made my day. My Sister friend Lori just joined you and our Garden Community…. she really needs help LOL.

Be Blessed, Keep on Growing, Dehydrating, Canning, Preserving Food and just being YOU.

    Ms J and Sophie☺
