  1. For sure held back here in Middle TN, (7A), with below freezing temps overnight & what feels like non stop rain! My yard feels like walking on a sponge!

  2. We often have late frosts so even though it is in the 70s, we will be in the 30s over night a handful of days between now and May. Zone 6b

  3. Held up with freezing weather in Scotland. Sooo looking forward to warm weather

  4. Yes. It feels different here in 6b. It's much colder than typical weather. Started seeds in Feb, planted sweet pea seeds around St. Patrick's day, and started to clear some, not all leaves. Since it's been cooler, this is the first year I've successfully started herbs (like cilantro) indoors.

  5. Here in Omaha (5B) we just got a dusting of snow overnight last night.

Today, I am getting my beds cleaned and prepped for the growing season.

I am so excited to be outdoors again!

  6. Funny thing is…I harvested 38 Seminole pumpkins yesterday from 2 plants. So technically you’re not wrong. Zone 9b Texas

  7. Skagit valley tulips are almost 2 weeks behind. My garden dirty just dried enough to plant beans.

  8. I really like the Cottage's garden area…I love the way the logs separate each bed…..it just looks Lovely!

  9. It’s snowing here in northwest Montana as we speak. I’m all ready to get my seeds started but it’s still pretty darn cold even in our greenhouse! With such a snowy winter we’ve just barely gotten a path cleared to get there. We still have another week to go before it finally gets into the 50’s. My seeds are going to have a late start it looks like ☹️.

  10. Bay Area NorCal 9b. So behind due to rain and we are still seeing overnight temps in the high 30s. Getting a free lime tree to pot up this week, is there a special mix I need for citrus in a container? Also, wish I knew you needed new avocado trees, the same friend offered me two free haas, but I don’t have the space for how big they get. Don’t know if they still have them, could check if you want. Bet we have enough folks here to create a “carpool chain” to get them down to you.

  11. I live in Oregon along the South coast and yes, the weather has been problematic here as well we've had rain, hail, snow, again followed by rain. Moreover, we've had freezing temperatures followed by rises into the 60s and in freezing temperatures again. I am behind getting my raised beds ready for the spring planting because of the roller coaster weather.

  12. I am zone 8b Coastal SC. This spring has been a false early spring for us with 80 degrees down to 30's, back up to 80s. All plants are confused. Definitely changed my Feb/Mar garden chores, but luckily, I'm mindful not to be too much hurry and let weather even out a bit while I get regular chores done. Thank you so much for all your videos, plus management info. You've helped me along greatly.

  13. Yes I’m in Northern California and we’ve had 30 degree nights just in the last few weeks! Crazy

  14. Much like you, us up here in the San Francisco Bay Area the rain storms have set us back. I live in San Jose, so we still have some nights in the upper 30's. The next few weeks look good however.

  15. It used to be up until about 20 years ago, it'd start freezing up soon after Halloween and mostly stay that way all winter. Now it's usually after Thanksgiving, and we have alot more up and down temps, between 60 to -20F all winter like a roller coaster.

However, we also used to plant around mid-March, sometimes earlier. Now it's the middle of April. It's like we gained a month of one end and lost it on the backside.

  16. Had frost yesterday morning at the community garden here in Las Vegas. All tomato transplants died

  17. Hey Brian. Hope all is well. When you're planting tomatoes, do you use rock phosphate in Blood meal together it just one. And do you prepare the same way with containers by putting those in the soil in the beginning? Thank you.

  18. Yes, we are in Morgan Hill CA and yes, lots of rain and unusual chilly here. Adding in summer veggies has been delayed. Still harvesting lettuces, spinach and broccoli. Zone 9B
