  1. Here in NJ, my garden was from Habakkuk 3:17. Just enough for me and very little to share. The temperature got normal this month and the tomatoes are producing fruits. The bad thing that is the temperature is dropping. I have to find a recipe for green tomatoes.

  2. I really enjoyed watching you demonstrate the techniques you were explaining. I loved watching you work in your garden, as opposed to just talking about it. Explaining has its place, but where you can show us examples of you doing the actual work, this kind of instruction works best for my learning style. Thanks for another great video. I've been watching you for years.

  3. I haven't been gardening very long. I really would love to show how to prepare for a fall garden. I'm in zone 9. I got my garden cleaned up so I'm ready for prep. Thanks

  4. Iโ€™ve never grown okra but I have to leave the zucchini growing to a friend. I had a leaf just brush my cheek and had my whole face swell up and could barely open my eyes. Ended up at the doctor who told me itโ€™s contact dermatitis and not to grow them anymore. Took a week for my face to return to normal.

  5. Can you put mildew zucchini plants in compost if you live in a place that gets very very cold in the winter? Zone 4?

  6. in northern CA, I still have tomatoes blooming and forming, but I don't know if they will mature or not, the daylight is much shorter, but we have through November to wait. The plants have white flies, so I am not sure if I will let them stay or not. Small gardens mean tough decisions. I would like either of those video ideas.

  7. I really enjoyed relaxing on the couch and watching you do all the work that I should have been doing myself today. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I also like your idea for the next two videos and look forward to seeing them.

  8. We had our first frost warning last night – zone 6b. I'll be doing a major clean-up of my garden this week. Thanks for your tips on how to do it. My kale, collard greens, etc are looking great and I'll be planting my garlic next week. For aphid problems – plant garlic and/or peppermint (in a container) nearby. I had major aphid problems last year and planted those two near my plants with no aphids in sight this year.

  9. Your videos are always helpful! And please both of the mentioned videos. I want to learn both. Please and thank you! ๐Ÿ˜

  10. Preparing raised beds for winter would be nice. Thanks for this one also. I learned some alot just watching you.

  11. Thanks for tips I'm zone 5 my bell green peppers still producing I didn't got any tomatoes this year I made big mistake I did not planted deep enough I'm still learning thanks๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

  12. I would love to see how you prep soil for Fall planting. Iโ€™m zone 9b, but Iโ€™m unsure if I should amend my soil since my plants will grow so slowly thru winter.

  13. Do you change gloves to a new pair after pruning/handling a plant with powdery mildew? Can the powdery mildew spores transfer to your gloves and then you transfer the spores to a healthy plant if you don't change your gloves? – Rhonda

  14. Good video. Definitely looking forward to a video on putting my garden to bed for the Winter here in Zone 5. Thanks!

  15. Thank you. This was very helpful. I'm in NJ,7a so I will be cleaning up my veggie garden soon. We had 50 days with 90ยฐ+ temps. So not a great season.

Right now. I have a couple cherry tomato plants with green tomatoes and a few 70+ days thus week. I haven't had much luck with my pumpkin, butternut or acorn squashes. Though I started new plants in late July. They are growing, but I doubt they will be able to produce by our FFD, Oct 25.
I started new cucumber and summer squash plants at the same time. I have 1 zucchini and 4 cucumbers growing, so I will hold off as long as I can.
I am going to try to over winter one or two pepper plants. I didn't get much from them because it got too hot so early.
Can you overwinter eggplants? I have lovely plants, also restarted in July, lots of flowers but no fruit.
I look forward to your next 2 videos. While I cannot grow year round, I would still watch. I always learn something new with your videos.

  16. Yes. I'd like to know how to prep the gardens for fall/winter cool temperature veggies ie cabbages, fennel, Brussel sprouts, salad greens etc for zone 8a.

  17. Would love to see both videos that you mentioned. Appreciate that you showed all real work in the garden and not just the harvest. ๐Ÿ˜„

  18. I'm really interested in seeing one or two more videos concerning your preparation of the garden area for winter, etc.
