I got a Selenicereus validus some months ago and potted it into a living soil mix suitable for its needs. It was on standard liquid fertilizers (maybe mineral but don't know for sure) before but I have all my plants growing in living soil. It stood in a commercial green house before I got it – now it's in my flats little conservatory.
The change in grow since then is quite obvious. I always had the impression that plants grow better in living soil than in any other medium but I've never had proof that visible to me. Of course I may have a different and maybe even more suitable watering schedule but the growth looks more regular and more healthy, not only bigger in size. (To admit: I once had a calculation error in my watering routine and for some time it got the double amount of water so it's a little bulging atm, I guess… 🤔)
Just wanted to share this in case anyone is interested in living soil too. 🤷🏽♂️
