This is not an ecosphere but I wanted to show what a hatched damselfly looks like, since many of us are ending with nymphs in our jars. They look a lot like dragonflies but their bodies look more like a stick. It hatched yesterday, so I put it in my skink vivarium since it’s freezing outside.

Here’s a bit longer video of the 10 months old Seacosphere with usb microscope footage at the end. I don’t know what half of these are, but more and more life is popping up. I DO know that the purple stringy stuff is cyanobacteria. Unless it blooms it shouldn’t be a problem, right?
