I was about to say that is the biggest mothereffing hydra I’ve seen yet…but naah, it’s just tubifex worms sticking out of a piece of plant.

Tubifex worms. Looks like they built one big tube in the middle there.
These are the things from those news stories about gross wriggling sewer monster globs. Sewage gets dumped in the thames, causes gross bacteria blooms, and these detritus eating worms eat the mess. And sometimes local drains cough up balls of these awful worms.
