She is not dead. This happens for many reasons, but mostly:
Was the plant squished against something preventing it from stretching out?
And
Maybe not enough humidity.

So my Tradescantia zebrina also does this sometimes bc I live in an arid place so moisture levels are always hard to keep up. However it’s never done that many in a row! It’s just stuck leaf. Carefully wet the vine where they are trapped and use a soft toothbrush to gently encourage the separation it needs. Keep adding water as needed. Once it is almost out you can coax it out with a finger in the little holes they made that you just helped open more.
