Calathea orbifolia leaf unfurl spanning just over a week. The following is a *report* of my environmental conditions and care efforts that have resulted in a satisfactory experience so far (about 2 months). They are NOT *instructions* for perfection.

Light: right beside a large NE window receiving 300-500 foot-candles most of the day. Sun never shines directly on the plant.

Watering: soil kept evenly moist.
–
Fertilizer: 3-1-2 at the recommended mixture (mixed into water used for watering).
–
Temperature/humidity: 23-25°C, 40-60%

Still waiting for the brown tips so I can establish a leaf lifespan…I don’t strive to prevent them. I see them like wrinkles and grey hair.
