Happy plant owners are those who understand the balance of environment, effort, and expectations. Unfortunately, people feel intimidated by plant care because they put pressure on themselves, believing that “proper care” = perfect plants forever. Anyone who has owned houseplants for several years has picked up their fair share of yellowed leaves and witnessed brown tips – they are not necessarily the result of “poor care.”

Here’s a holistic approach to houseplant care:
1) Understand your environmental conditions: take note of the number of hours of direct sun exposure and consider the total visible area of the sky from the point of view of the plant.
2) Try your best with care: watering, fertilizing, repotting.
3) Let Nature take its course: leaves don’t last forever – older leaves will die as new ones grow

With the right knowledge and mindset, integrating plants into your everyday life can be very rewarding and uplifting. I encourage each of you to introduce plants into your space and begin your plant care journey. Remember, I am always here to help!
