I’ve had my Lithops for about 6 months now and about a month ago they started getting really wrinkly! One of them looks like it’s going to get a new leaf, but the other one doesn’t seem to be getting a new leaf but is increasingly wrinkly! The other two seem fine but I’m just confused as to what’s going on! They are in a window with bright morning-afternoon sun (about 8 hrs per day in bright sunlight) and I water them when the soil is really dry and they’re showing signs of being thirsty. Thanks!

NAE. But here’s what I would do:

    1. Change soil to something more organic. I do 90% perlite and 10% succulent soil. Perlite can be annoying to water though.
    2. Do not water the one splitting (green) until it has split and completely reabsorbed the old leaves.
    3. Leave the blue one alone.
    4. Separate the one marked red into another pot and observe it for another week. If it doesn’t split, give it a deep watering. If it splits, leave it alone.
