Spent the entire day yesterday trying to achieve the right coloring for my new block print work. After several (maybe 35 attempts š) I found this nice ombreĢ technique that is reminiscent of my watercolor work! Color and black options will be available for these upon release.
This block print work is really satisfying my want and need for affordably priced limited edition pieces. As someone who canāt afford expensive artwork, but would love to have something in my house that an artist touched from beginning to end, these pieces fit. All pieces are printed by hand using a lino block, Caligo safe inks (super environmentally friendly -made with veg oil), and Rives BFK paper. Each print is unique as color shifts!
Going to print the rest of the day today, then these pieces will need to dry for about five days. Iāll release the prints I finish this week on Sunday! #aroidaddicts
