My boss got these delivered to today and gave them to me. They arrived a little sad, but I put them in water immediately.

Is it possible to propagate them from these? I have some propagation fertilizer drops I can use as well.

    Copied from a google search:
Gardenias can be propagated through the following method: Cut the branch down from the tip with pruners, about 5 inches; the stem should preferably be green at this end, called softwood. Remove all but three leaves at the top with pruners. To encourage root growth, dip the bottom of the cut stem in root hormone.

  2. Yes, I’ve successfully propped them in water a few times (I didn’t have any rooting hormone, and it still worked).

My cut gardenia stems readily grew roots in a vase, so I’d say yes, easily.
