Hey everyone, I was shown a go fund me page for @blackwomeninvisualart by my friends @carveouttimeforart and I’d like to help by auctioning off an 8 x 10” Eucalyptus watercolor painting (frame not included). Here’s a little about them:
Founders @ljacksonharris & @dariciamia_pi are raising money for their organization @blackwomeninvisualart to become incorporated. With funds raised, they will implement flagship programs and build their website.
Their mission:
BWVA is an organization for women, visual art professionals of the African Diaspora. BWVA aims to foster networks, share resources and develop programs with the goal of increasing visibility for women in the global majority. BWVA was created to steward and nurture enduring representation and leadership in the visual arts.
They serve as a resource for Black women in the art world for an equitable and harmonious future.
