I’m Chris Deana and this is my garden I’m gardening in a Suburban environment so I try to grow what I can this year I’m trying to grow squash zucchinis Tomatoes beans and sunflowers I have rosemary sage and mint also got these carrots here which are doing nicely I used to grow these tall marshmallow plants they’re not native to North America so I cut them down and harvested the root for medicine I kept one root just to keep the plants growing in case I want to expand it a little bit more in the future I also have these tiger lies which are non-native however they’re growing in a very Rocky difficult patch so I figured I’d let them be until they get to be a problem we have a blueberry bush that gives us fruit continuously every year we also have a massive pine tree which I love but it makes things difficult for growing sometimes I’ve collected a couple of pine tree sprouts that I want to grow and see become big I also have this apple tree that I grew from a seed several years ago it hasn’t borne any fruit yet but hey if it’s happy that’s all that matters my goal is to someday become a subsistence farmer right now my gardening is about experimentation and education I’m learning what I need to do for successful garden so join me for the journey
