Recently acquired as a freebie w/other ordered haws. Would this be considered a crested plant or one with the start of a second head higher up on the stem than usual?

Nope, not crested. Just pushing a couple of offsets from the center. Haworthias do this when they’ve been beheaded or when the center-most part of the plant has been severely damaged, but the rest of the plant remains healthy.
