I have caught rats every night for a week but there are too many. They have had a go at over half a dozen of these.
Might have to stop feeding the bloody lazy cats…
Set up the new automatic, resetting trap tonight…. Hope it performs.

If you’re open to additional animals I have found that a terrier (I have a jack russel but most small terrier enjoy the job) is a much better ratter than a cat.
Mine happily slaughtered a family of about 40 in 15 minutes when I first moved to a new farm.
