I’d just stick with mirabilis. I’d be surprised if it was a hybrid, and it probably has a variety name, but mirabilis is about as close as you can reliably get without choosing between a few varieties people already mentioned.

My guesses would be either mirabilis var depauperata, mirabilis var triebneriana or perhaps a maraisii cf heidelbergensis. But as Goat said I’d just stick with mirabilis sp. without a clear ID

It looks close to my mirabilis var paradoxa GM305, which has been available from Arid Lands off and on for many years.
