I’ve been thinking about starting a paludarium with vampire crabs. I’m likely to have shrimp with them and wanted to get some advice and recommendations. From what I’ve heard neocaridinas are a good fit.
I’ve also been thinking of possibly having one or two bamboo shrimp in the tank and want to know if they would be able to live in similar conditions as well as living with the crabs.
I haven’t bought anything yet so any recommendations are appreciated.

Well I’ve never kept shrimps with vamps but do note that if you wanted to do cherries, the water temperatures might be an issue and in the long run they are crabs. They will mostly likely attempts to murder anything else in there with them. Otherwise i would go for it. I’m starting my second palu soon too and it’s as addicting as any other aquarium or terrarium projects
Checkout IndoorEcosystem on YouTube if you are doing Vampire Crabs. He covers everything in detail. Neo shrimp go well with Vamps though and are fast enough to not get eaten 99% of the time. However Bamboos might be a bit too big and slow so will become food. I would just skip them. Just remember that Vampire Crabs spend 99% of their time on land.
Also what species of vampire crabs would people recommend. I’m considering the either the crabs pictured or Red Devils. Is there any significant differences between species. And no I don’t plan to mix them.
