Ticks in greenhouse.

Over the last few weeks, I've killed about 60 ticks on the walls and especially doors of my greenhouse. I'd rather not spray anything, as it's my greenhouse, and I also like all my non bloodsucking critters. Two days ago I cut down all weeds growing up around the perimeter and laid cardboard on all ground not planted, still killed 6 ticks when going in today.

Any suggestions?

First you’re gonna need to get some lizards to eat the ticks…. But then the lizards tend to breed rapidly, so you’re gonna want to get some snakes to eat the lizards, but… well, the snakes also reproduce in large numbers…. So you’re going to want to get some badgers to eat the snakes…. Problem is, the badgers can kind of get dug in, and they are really hard to get rid of…. So you’re going to want to get some bobcats to get rid of the badgers…. And, yeah…. About those bobcats….

Hire some Guinea fowl greenhouse borderwatch.

That should be a Dr Seuss goes to New England book.

    Ticks on socks
    Ticks on blouse

Some permethrin on the walls may help. Don’t spray it out around the area to avoid killing pollinators but a perimeter may help with the ticks.
