  1. What a fascinating technique for growing sweet potatoes. I have been told that sweet potatoes don't grow well here in desert mountains because it gets too cold at night during the summer, even though our daytime temperatures can be hot. If I used insulated containers, my results might be better. Thanks.

  2. How did they take off the top of the container if the potatoes were planted at the top as well?

  3. My mini donkeys would love to visit your sweet potato patch. Prior to the drought we had in Houston, Texas last summer, my mini donkeys never touched anything in the garden except the grass and some herbs. But with the lack of fresh greens last summer, my mini donkeys discovered my sweet potato raised bed and ate most of the leaves from it several times. I still got sweet potatos, but not many. But the donkeys got what the needed. No loss there.

  15. I made it to 4 minutes and gave up. I am sure these ideas are wonderful and effective, but all this video did was leave me confused with dozens of questions. You really need to NARRATE and be SPECIFIC about what you are throwing in there and why.

SO I am left with YAY- this guy can grow sweet potatoes…but no clue what you did.. This is not an educational video. PLEASE NARRATE!!!

  16. I tried sweet potato last year, but northern Illinois, USA is just not the best place to get a large yield. Oh, I got some for sure … but the growing season is simply not long enough. However, I had not attempted putting any in small containers as shown in this video. I shall attempt one this year just to see

  17. I love eating potatoes. I often buy them at the supermarket and take them home to roast. Now I can grow my own potatoes at home. Thank you for sharing.❤❤❤❤❤

  18. What is the "Now I don't feel broken anymore" song title
& singer's name, please? It's so beautiful my son began laughing. ❤

  19. Lol I just watched a video talking about how terrible styrofoam is, in terms of shedding microplastics and carcinogenic chemicals. 100 years from now people are going to look back on our plastic use and lump us right in with people from the Victorian era, putting lead and poison in everything and touting it as a modern miracle.

  20. The styrofoam has CHEMICALS in it.
Just saying. Not sure if you are try to grow organic or not ❤

  21. Looks so easy now I definitely want to grow my own! One question though, what happens with the coke bottles and the compost inside? Do you water the plants through that?

  22. First planting was on a tiled patio then it shows it was on dirt when bamboo was put in the ground for staking. False information.

  23. did anybody besides me try to get that bug off the screen? lol great way to grow sweet potatoes

  24. Fake. Those potatoes aren't even attached and you won't get that many of that size with the few vines you have, especially after just 60 days.

  25. In America and other ‘developed’ countries where we are obsessed with longevity, and expect to live into our 90’s, this is a fair concern. However, in countries where using recycled products and ingenuity are the norm, and there are bigger concerns than living into the ninth decade, this is an excellent idea. Please do buy your bpa free, hypo-allergenic, compostable, renewable containers and plant your produce, and rest assured you will have helped to pay a wage for an Asian factory worker. Stuffing biodegradable straw between livestock panel ‘walls’ to form your containers should work well and you will also support a local farmer.

  26. Very nice.I assume ypu cutting leaves for plant to put more effort on roots but i heard that fertilizing sweet potato is not necessey as encouridge more leaves not necessery more potatoes.Secondly only after 60 days.I have m8ne since january and going to harvest in next 2 weeks here in Sydney Australia as ussually take 120 to 150 days here to grow.Thank you again.
