    Meadow Evening Primrose (Oenothera pilosella). Yellow flowers that bloom in late spring/early summer

    Nice landlord! These are evening primrose and they spread really well but are also easy to pull up if they stray too far. The leaves turn bright red in the fall. One of my faves!

    Looks really nice if you are in the garden at night with a torch — e.g. collecting slugs.
