  1. I hear dill…but I also propose fennel maybe?

I just let the dill happen, it doesn’t harm my other plants and its great for dips or fish.

If you didn’t plant it it’s dog fennel

Does it smell like dill pickles (dill), or does it smell like black licorice (fennel)?

Pull the creeping Charlie before it takes over as well.

    Thanks all,

it’s interesting, I’ve never planted dill or fennel,

but I see these pop up occasionally in beds that have not been worked over the winter,
maybe my local bird population decided I need some dill or fennel in my garden..

Pinapple weed looks like this also. I let it grow wherever it lands and collect the buds for tea

Crush a bit and give it a smell. If it does not smell like dill It could be California Poppy.

    Mystery solved, it is chamomile,
I had a patch growing nearby and they dropped seeds everywhere..

Looks like my Dill and Cosmos (flower) plants right now.

Has to be chamomile, I have these little guys popping up by the millions after putting chamomile in my compost last summer

Definitely chamomile, I have the same in my garden but I planted it as a seedling.
