Rescued these pretty thick jade from the neighbors trash a few days ago.(the tops were already chopped off) I’ve been letting them dry outside for the last 3 days and they have calluses forming. Planning on putting the two largest ones in pots and the rest in a basket, all with well draining bonsai soil. I want to leave as much of the roots exposed as possible and develop them into bonsai trees. any tips on planting these guys/ how much of the roots I can leave exposed?
