So i’m at all no expert… but! i have my entire collection in pon. In order to avoid dry rot which is a thing. I keep my pon hydrated at all times. The only time i don’t is when i am switching it over from soil to pon. Everything is thriving. Is that a pbv!!!

I run perlite or stratum, but the only time I let things start to get even remotely dry is when I’m hardening stuff off to put into soil. Otherwise, I keep the water level a couple inches from the top normally, or all the way to the top if I have to leave them for a while. Tons of growth above and below the waterline.

I don’t let mine dry out and I water with hydroguard. I didn’t let them dry out during repotting from soil to pon either and everything went amazingly well. I didn’t lose a single leaf and the three plants I repotted have exploded with new growth.

See that little red rod in the clear enclosure? That should be halfway up. Yours looks very low.

I only let mine dry out when they’re transitioning from soil. Once that’s done it stays wet.
