    I don’t understand the question? It’s seed starting cells? Why wouldn’t it work?

    Well, I buy mine from the local nursery and they come in 3×3 pots that are not too much larger than these, maybe an extra few mm thick between plants. They’re usually about a foot tall by the time I get them and they are thick and sturdy plants.

    Edit – I meant pots that are a 3×3 grid, about 1 by 2 inch cells, and added a missing mm
