My lemon tree is leaning way over. Once I harvest these lemons I'm going to prune fairly heavily to encourage it to grow more vertically but would tying it to a stake help or just make it reliant on the external support?
Put a stake on the opposite of the lean side and tie it to it, keep it fairly tight, when over time the lemon will straighten up.

Trellis / Espalier it if you can. You can leave it in the pot ( or pot it one size up ) and you’ll be able to train it horizontally and get more potential fruiting areas of the plant exposed to sun.
