[Music] hello everyone welcome to my garden and today we are going to do a planting project I will be planting uh these two hipu that I got the other day from Pike Nurseries uh they are evergreen shrubs and the size on these can get from 4 ft wide to 12 ft tall uh but they’re very slow grower they have a dense compact habit so I feel like it’s easy to control and uh that’s why I thought it’s a good choice uh for my front garden uh I always thought there is some sort of like structure missing and these being Evergreens I think uh they’ll provide that structure in my front garden um so that’s why I picked those and that’s what we will be planting today and uh after that we’ll do some um new uh Mulch and uh after all of that I’ll update you how it looks like and I hope it look it turned out good that I will be planting today these are the two hixus uh this will get somewhat 4 ft wide and 12 ft tall um as you can see this is all the new growth and all of this is New Growth that is light green color and the uh the dark green foliage is the old uh growth um and uh you can easily uh maintain them you can easily control them to the height width that you want and they’re very slow grow so I think that will also help in um keeping them to the size that you need [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so we are done planting we have both the hixus in the ground and then now I will I will be applying uh some Mulch and then we will do some nice looking before and after and uh yeah let’s get into it finish the project [Music] [Music] [Music] so both of my hix are in the ground and I uh I have also applied some new mulch as well and everything is looking so fresh clean tidy ready for the season um so thank you so much for coming along with me and planting with me uh I will see you in my next one thank you so much
