Houseplants

Back with another “tacky but effective.” Purse hooks on the window moulding allow me to hang plants in the windows of our rented apartment.

Ignore the dust. These cheap purse hooks you sometimes see as promotional items are great for hanging plants directly in front of the window. I bought a pack of 5, rated for 20 lbs, on Amazon and they’ve been a game changer. They allow me to move plants, change the direction the face, etc., and I don’t have to put any more holes in our space.
They don’t have the prettiest designs, but they’re on top of the window so I can’t see that part anyway.
Your mileage may vary, depending on what type of window moulding you have, but our historic home allows for it and I’m very grateful.
