First one is actually a liverwort :3 More closely related to moss, doesn’t have a vascular system and reproduces via spores. The little cups are called Gemma and function as a method for asexual reproduction!

We let plants grow until they are big enough to identify because sometimes you end up with free plants 😁

I do the same thing 🙂 In the last couple of years I’ve cultivated my wild purslane as a filler plant. It’s tough as nails, not invasive in my area, and looks good with a variety of succulents.

I do too . Curious to see what they turn into. A lot don’t survive transplanting. I got a nice lot of papaya trees this way
