I am crossing peonies, but while in some varieties I can clearly see the pollen in others I can't seem to find any? Do some varieties just have really little to no pollen or am I just being stupid…
Each garden variety peony cultivar can only be reproduced asexually by division. i.e. they are all clones of one original plant and must be divided or grafted
They can be pollinated and produce seeds, but you may have a sterile hybrid, or the seeds produced won’t be like the flower you want
