Garden the YouTube channel where I try
to inspire you and encourage you to live
a good healthy
life bye doing it myself a nice balanced
healthy life connected to the Earth and
connected to your own food and get
connected with yourself so welcome back
to the channel if some of you didn’t
know already I’m a photographer before
Co I was traveling around the world
taking photographs I decided during Co
to start my garden and I didn’t know
anything about gardening at that point
and so I started my YouTube channel and
started sharing what I was learning and
we started to get into it and uh been
enjoying myself up here for about 3
years now so a few months ago I had an
event here in the wedy garden the first
public event where there was a group of
10 people that came and we had a
wonderful time looking around the garden
drinking tea and tasting fruit and so it
was such a memorable day I actually
wanted to share it with you guys out
there that couldn’t be here that like
living on the other side of the world
and that inspired me then to do wedy
garden Walkabout series which is the
series that I’d just done and um and
that’s kind of almost over I got myself
a new hat and some new clothes and I
kind of ready to move on to the next
chapter of the wedy garden although it
was a wonderful day I didn’t really feel
like I I could connect with each
individual Mrs wedy and I we decided
then instead to make our little garden
tours for only a couple of people at a
time hence the Romantic couples getaway
which is now promoted on the weeder
Garden
website and so we’ve had about three
couples through here now and each
experience has been a great experience
both for us and for our guests we just
recently had a couple through here last
weekend Alexandria and Maddie it was a
really special weekend actually they
stayed for quite a few days and it was
so special that I wanted to share it
with
you and uh so I’m going to get them to
help me tell the story about what
happened last
weekend

wow a the cottage was really cute and
the bed was actually super
comfy

that view how nice is that view over the
mountain I just love the building those
big open like breezeways between the
kitchen and that yoga studio like really
nice open

I just found I thought it was a cap skim

tour we got to see the swes we got to
see all the raised veggie beds and yeah
just checking out all of his different
systems with soil M and we got to taste
test things as we walked around like
those little the peanut
butter peanut butter fruits yeah we had
tamarillos we had we got to have a
pineapple we had a

wrapped up in Alp foil in the the

we got to do the drumming and learning
that that was so good
wedy is the drum Guru and we had such a
fun time yes we were actually making
quite good music I thought I thought we
sounded really good she turned this this
uh couple of absolute beginners into a
pretty neat sounding um room Bas so fun
yeah yeah I love that the drums that she
had were really really cool to play

and the bird calls in the morning and
Next Level call good morning the Whi
Bird that’s been so great to wake up to
listening to that
bird this is a nice little story so as
part of the special romantic tour
everyone gets a nice little professional
photo and so um just setting the photo
up and uh and Maddie came up and said
hey Wy I’m going to propose to Alex now
so you get ready for it
and so we were taking the photos and I
gave Maddie a bit of a wink it’s like
now it’s now and yeah he proposed it was
actually a beautiful moment wasn’t it I
even had tears in my eyes it was pretty
picture perfect thank thanks to you w
for capturing the moment and I said
yes several
times
we got it yeah it’s all on
film oh yeah we got engaged that was
pretty cool we got engaged that’s right
and then we jumped up the
waterfall we’re going to go 3 2 1 we’re
going to go 3 two 1 Jump yeah 3 2 1

time okay we got to swing on a vine that
was really fun swinging on the vines
around the waterfall yeah climbing
around like monkeys yeah that was really
fun he said it would be
eing yeah having lots of little picnics
drinking tea and

coffee oh yeah so we had a bath outside
yeah that outoor bath is lovely with a
bottle of wine underneath the stars and
the moon moon was nearly full yeah it
was beautiful yeah that actually was one
of my favorite things except for a very
very incredible thing that happened to
the waterfall it’s been beautiful had a
really good time honestly have the
accommodation the
location The Experience like all the
food and the the garden tours like it’s
been really interactive but then also
pretty deep and
meaningful like fun and light but also
pretty deep
yeah yeah beautiful little spot they’ve
got here walking around all the little
adventures that you can fall down like
finding Little Critters and toads and
all sorts of things that you wouldn’t
expect and W’s really funny guy isn’t
he we had a laugh Heather’s
funnyer that’s
hilarious and um so thanks for watching
