my name is jason gorman and i live in
stillwater minnesota our oldest was
going off to high school and uh we
thought if there was any any time to do
a pool it would probably be you know be
then so we met with a few different pool
companies and landscape companies and
ultimately selected tim and lci
landscapes
we didn’t really know anything we had
never you know had never met with anyone
regarding a pool we were pretty naive
it was you know overwhelming it was a
lot of work and it was a lot of you know
people at your house all the time and
all the guys that worked on the project
were really polite they bring their own
portable bathroom which is really you
know nice and every single day when you
come home everything was cool
they were really awesome to work with
one of the most important things when
you are you know interviewing
landscapers or thinking about doing a
big backyard project work with someone
who’s done them before you know we could
tell right away that this wasn’t tim’s
first job this wasn’t lci’s first job
like this um so they had a lot of really
great ideas they had a lot of experience
and so they knew what would work and
what wouldn’t work where i think
sometimes people maybe just shop with
the cheapest place but they have
absolutely no experience in doing you
know a larger project we did a lot of
revisions and so we you know played with
the pool working you know two three
different ways
we chose lci because they were so
concerned with making sure we designed
it correctly and knowledgeable about how
things needed to work and the products
that would work best in each spot
there were so many little details from
the you know concrete edging to all the
lighting and sound system and all the
little details that you know they make
all the difference at different times of
day it it really does look it look and
feel different
ultimately was like do we buy a cabin do
we have a cabin or do we you know put
this in the backyard and actually
have it every single day when we get
home
it’s pretty cool like when i look at it
now i almost can’t believe it’s it’s
it’s exactly what we envisioned
we get comments and you know compliments
from friends and that they’re like how
did you think of all this and you know
really it was um it was my wife and i
and tim really working through the
design process because they just did
such a nice job we couldn’t speak highly
enough i mean i’ve referred a dozen
friends of mine to him and i just think
i mean if we were to do another project
i’d choose him in a heartbeat
you
