Should I cut this?

My albo has a long stem that half of the roots are growing out of I just wonder if it’s possible or a good idea to cut part of the stem off and make a new plant? Will it affect the variegation or the growth at all? I’m concerned if I cut it there won’t be enough roots to sustain the leaves. This is my favorite baby I dont want to ruin her 🥹, just that this stem seems so much longer than other cuttings I’ve seen and want to utilize it if I can

Note: The roots are not rotting, this plant and all aerial roots were in the soil recently. I found some bugs in the soil of the previous setup (which I’m not even sure were bad) but I freaked out and moved it to this vase with nutrient water where it’s been for a month, it’s already starting to grow tiny water roots. It’s also being moved to leca and a moss pole this week.
