Philodendron

Does this white part mean the plant is dying?

This philodendron has already been having issues, just wanted to make sure that this means death and I should propagate or not. Thanks for any input!

This plant isn’t dead but it isn’t in a situation to help it thrive. The pot needs downsized dramatically.

Repot or chop/prop, or if you don’t want to to chop it, then coiling it and pinning it around a pot might get it to put out some other runners once it roots so it’s not just a single dangler. Personally I would cut it up and try and get as many props as possible and repot so you have a nice full plant instead of just one vine, but that’s a lot more time intensive. There’s probably a reason the other ones died and I’m guessing it’s the soil or pot size.
