First pic is what I want, 2nd and 3rd pics are our actual backyard.
We had concrete patio installed last year which was first step in making our backyard somewhat usable. But now we have the rest of the yard made up of very uneven rocky clay. I have a vision for what I want but I don’t know what it would take to achieve it, would like to do as much work ourselves as we can as we don’t have lots of money to spend. Will post a pic of what I want- would love to know if it’s possible and if so how we would do it. Thanks so much

Have you priced any of the materials out locally yet?? Looks like to me if you want to DIY it you need $10,000 and one month of no work to complete the project.
You already have a nice patio, why do you want so much more concrete and gravel? Just make a little 5×5 outgrowing to hold a fireplace away from the porch and mulch/plant the rest. Chairs can go on mulch.
