Hydroponics

Repellent

Hi all! I had a question about these. I have a pesky groundhog that has a history of eating our plants. This is my first year doing hydroponic towers and I am trying to think of ways to keep him off of them. I saw some people saying white vinegar would work but I wasn’t sure if that would kill the plants if it leaked into the water. I also found these on Amazon. It says it also repels insects and I’m worried if it will repel good pollinators. I have some flowers picked out as companion plants so that I can attract and repel the right insects so I’m hoping this won’t ruin that. If the vinegar is a better choice I was going to put it at the base of the tower and along the sides of the buckets.

I also considered doing bird spikes on the lid of the bucket. I just can’t shake the fear that I’ll be cleaning bunny corpses off of it if they try to jump up. Thanks in advance for any tips!
