Looks like the syngonium in the back is still kicking! I also see live springtails, which probably love munching on that “growth”. I would say let it just run its course, maybe it’ll bounce back, maybe the fungus will die at some point, maybe it’ll overtake the whole system, or maybe it’s symbiotic. You didn’t do anything wrong, it still looks pretty cool. It’s living. 🪴

Did you use charcoal by chance?

I have nothing constructive to add, being a newby in the world of making terrariums myself, but I just want to say that 1) the original terrarium looked super cool! I love the composition, you have a good eye and 2) I really appreciate you showing a ‘then and now’. A lot of terrariums shared here are recently created and haven’t had a chance to develop, and lets face it they all look cool on day 1. It’s really helpful to see a ‘one year later’ example, no matter how it turned out.

Any woodlice or something to eat the mold?

Maybe let it dry out for a bit if possible, it may help knock the fungus back a bit

Dead plant matter turned to fungus maybe?
