Just sprouted these and was using this clonex. Couple questions.
When is appropriate to switch to normal nutrient solution?
I’m running the water about every hour for 30 seconds. Things look happy but I’d love to get input on what’s correct watering schedule with a tower system.
Hydroguard or a beneficial microbe?
I’m an organic soil grower and would love to have some life churning in the water.
I’m using “clean res” but wondering how often the reservoir is filled with new water to avoid problems. Tough to keep ph from rising so often too.

Hydroguard is a beneficial microbe. You can go either way, microbes or sterile. Sterile is generally cheaper in my experience since I make my own “clean res” out of calcium hypochlorite “pool shock”. Cannabis will be difficult to finish in this setup as it grows large very quickly. Ideally you’d only have one plant in this setup but then you lose the efficiencies of the tower. Lastly, I would suggest not growing cannabis in this setup, Sorry friend.
I can’t echo this enough, this is a small space for one(1) cannabis plant, let alone the first you’ve got started here.
